"Employee Dismissed for Unauthorized Leave: 5-Day Absence Reduced to 24-Hour Notice Requirement" 

 The Public Service Commission has cancelled a previous circular (No. 03/2024) about appealing against notices for vacancies due to absent employees.

A new rule has been introduced: if a government officer is going to be absent from work, they must inform their supervisor within 24 hours.
