📌 Overview

The Ministry of Education has introduced Circular 10/2026 to eliminate drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and harmful substances from all educational institutions. This national programme establishes “Collective Circles” at school, zonal, provincial, and national levels.

• Create a drug-free education environment
• Protect students from harmful substances
• Develop disciplined and responsible citizens
• Support national vision: Drug-Free Country

🚫 Strict Prohibitions

• Drugs (legal & illegal)
• Alcohol & tobacco
• Betel nut products
• Energy drinks & harmful supplements
• Any promotion or sale inside institutions

• Government & Private Schools
• Pirivenas & Educational Institutes
• National Colleges of Education
• Teacher Training Colleges
• Zonal & Provincial Offices

Strict ban during:

• Sports & tournaments
• School trips & camps
