W&OP Registration and Information Update 2026 — Deadline Extended to 30 October 2026 

Widows' and Orphans' / Widowers' and Orphans' Pension Scheme — Important Notice for Public Officers

📢 Important Notice: The online information system for registering public officers under the Widows' and Orphans' / Widowers' and Orphans' Pension (W&OP) Scheme has been reactivated. All public institutions must complete registration, information updates, and beneficiary verification through the new system on or before 30 October 2026.

✅ Activities to Be Completed

• Registration of public officers in the new W&OP system
• Updating officers' personal and service information
• Verification of spouse, children, and other beneficiary details
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Obtaining the new W&OP membership card where applicable

Public institutions have been instructed to verify the accuracy of information entered into the system and to establish a suitable monitoring mechanism.

🔍 Check Your New W&OP Card Status

Public officers can check whether their W&OP information has been updated to the new system using the Pension Department's online service.

1. Click the status-check button given above.
2. Select Government Officers.
3. Enter your National Identity Card number.
4. If the message "Pensioner Not Available" appears, your information has not yet been updated to the new system.
5. If an OTP is sent to your registered mobile number, your information has been updated. Enter the OTP to continue.

1. පහත ඇති තත්ත්වය පරීක්ෂා කිරීමේ බොත්තම ක්ලික් කරන්න.
2. Government Officers යන්න තෝරන්න.
3. ඔබගේ ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පත් අංකය ඇතුළත් කරන්න.
4. "Pensioner Not Available" යන පණිවිඩය පෙන්වන්නේ නම්, ඔබගේ තොරතුරු තවමත් නව පද්ධතියට යාවත්කාලීන කර නොමැත.
5. ඔබගේ ලියාපදිංචි ජංගම දුරකථන අංකයට OTP අංකයක් ලැබෙන්නේ නම්, ඔබගේ තොරතුරු යාවත්කාලීන කර ඇත. ඉදිරියට යාමට OTP අංකය ඇතුළත් කරන්න.

1. கீழே உள்ள நிலையைச் சரிபார்க்கும் பொத்தானைக் கிளிக் செய்யவும்.

3. உங்கள் தேசிய அடையாள அட்டை இலக்கத்தை உள்ளிடவும்.
4. "Pensioner Not Available" என்ற செய்தி காணப்பட்டால், உங்கள் தகவல்கள் இன்னும் புதிய முறைமையில் புதுப்பிக்கப்படவில்லை.
5. உங்கள் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்ட தொலைபேசி இலக்கத்திற்கு OTP அனுப்பப்பட்டால், உங்கள் தகவல்கள் புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. தொடர்வதற்கு OTP இலக்கத்தை உள்ளிடவும்.

⚠️ Important: If your information has been updated, visit your institution's file clerk or the officer responsible for personal files and obtain your new W&OP membership card.
