The University Grants Commission has launched the Schooling Period Verification System for candidates of the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination 2025.
This system is mandatory for school principals to validate student records before university admission processing.
⚠️ Important Notice
School principals must log in to the official school account and verify the schooling period details of all students who applied for the A/L 2025 examination from their school.
🧭 How to Verify Student Details (Step-by-Step)
- Log in to the official online portal
- Enter the student’s Index Number in the search box
- Click Edit
- Enter or update the required schooling details
- Save changes for each student record
👉 Bulk verification is possible by editing each student entry individually.
📌 Special Instructions (Critical – Don’t Skip)
If a student joined your school after 01.01.2023:

You must include:
- Previous school(s)
- Exact schooling periods for the last 3 years
👉 Missing this = potential rejection or delay in university admission.
📄 After UGC Application Deadline
Once university applications close for 2025/2026 academic year:
- Download the generated PDF
