About the Programme

The A/L Vocational Stream is a school-based programme under the Thirteen Years Guaranteed Education Programme by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education of Sri Lanka. Students who complete Grade 12 in this stream can continue with an NVQ Level 4 vocational training course during Grade 13, opening pathways to technical employment and professional certification.

How to Apply – Step by Step

    Find a Participating School

    Check the official participating school list to find a school near you that offers your preferred vocational subject area.

    Download the Application Form

    Download the official Sinhala or Tamil application form from the Ministry of Education website.

  3. 3
    Complete the Application

    Fill in the application carefully following the official instructions and the prescribed application format.

  4. 4
    Submit Before Deadline

    Send the completed application directly to the Principal of your selected school on or before 8 July 2026.
