Minimum three simple passes in one sitting in the Science stream at G.C.E. A/L
Chemistry must be included among the A/L subjects
Minimum simple pass in English at G.C.E. O/L
An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate will also be considered
Selection is based on written test and/or interview

⭐ Special exemption Diploma holders in Medical Laboratory Technology from the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka who meet the criteria are granted a 30-credit exemption from regular Level 03 courses.
